Ratna Nidhi Charitable
Trust runs a food project which is in two parts that
are ‘Food for Education’ and Food for
Saving’. A staggering 18 million food packets
have been distributed under this project till end
of last year. |

The Gujarat Earthquake
on 26th January 2001 left over 60,000 people dead
and over 150,000 disabled. A massive worldwide relief
program was begun in order to help those who have
suffered and lost everything in the earthquake.
RNCT coordinated the sponsorship efforts of various
international and local organizations and held a 10
day ‘Hospital on Wheels’ project at Surendranagar.
The purpose of this project was to provide medical
and surgical treatment to the quake-affected people.

The Tsunami on 26th
December 2004 killed and injured more than 500,000
people making it one of the worlds deadliest natural
disasters recorded in history.
Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust has implemented and co-ordinated
several projects for the welfare of poor people in
some of the worst tsunami affected districts of Andhra
Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
