Having conducted
several camps in different regions in India
RNCT felt that they should provide free prosthetics
to disabled in the very city the conduct their
work in. A camp held from 27th February to 2nd
March 2005 for the handicapped was conducted
at Sarvodaya Hospital with the supporter of
Artificial Limb MFG. Co. of India, Rotary Club
of Ghatkopar, Rotary Club of Newport Pagnell-
UK, and Rotary International – USA. In
the presence of the chief guest, Rotary District
Governor Rtn. Rahul Timbadia, the prosthetics
distributed benefited over 1500 people. |

After conducting
various screening camps in different schools
in Mumbai a mobility camp was held at CCI club
from 10th to 12th December 2005. This mobility
camp provided prosthetics to handicapped school
children of public schools who were unable to
attend school due to physical disability. The
camp was a great success with over 1000 disabled
beneficiaries. |

MOBILITY
CAMP AT MULUND IN MUMBAI
In association with the Lions Club of Mulund,
Mumbai Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust had organized
a mobility camp for the Orthoaedically handicapped
children and youth in October 2007. The camp
received a tremendous response and a total of
609 beneficiaries availed of the free facilities
of Callipers, Jaipur foot, Crutches, Tricycles
and Wheelchairs as per details below
