A survey conducted in and around Radhanpur, one of the affected areas of the earthquake, showed that there was a huge demand for prosthetics from the handicapped people of that area. So a camp was held from 27th January to 2nd February 2003 in the premises of the Sarvodaya Hospital at Radhanpur where handicapped people were provided with necessary prosthetics. This successful camp had over 900 beneficiaries.
